The study tries to ascertain whether experiences on these two different labyrinths are equal in quality. Is a walk on a contemporary labyrinth commensurate with a walk on an archetypal labyrinth as a path to inner reflection, healing, transformation, and contemplation of God? The study is not conclusive, but it does illustrate the fact that each individual labyrinth walk as with each individual's path is different. Pre-testing and post-testing, a spiritual awareness assessment, and weekly journal entries were utilized to evaluate spiritual maturity and awareness of God.
