The shadow is an in-divisible part of becoming a whole person. In light of Jung's view that there is no wholeness without shadow, Paul's owning of the shadow reveals a crucial movement of becoming a mature Christian. Paul's ultimate mission goal is to be transformed into the image of Christ (2 Cor. 3:18), and Rom. 7:14-25 is an example of the ongoing dynamic journey of integrating the shadow and Christ in the transformation process."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["United Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["f0f9c284-37b6-440c-96ab-39e6509e82ee"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791129317026037760,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:13:47.010Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T09:36:03Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T06:45:51Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"10f70480-ea03-4517-90a8-dd53bf5d49fa","accessControl_ssim":["c61593a8-bcc6-4730-ad93-189d9ab5ec53"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Transformative faith journey: a model for healing 'paralysis' of spirit, mind, and body in church community"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T09:36:02Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T22:36:56Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["35b0ac0b-4e32-49d6-b160-69ae7e84b9f4"],"hasLease_ssim":["10e55993-1900-4c89-a3a6-6340bf777008"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["United Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Bobby J Beavers","Urias H Beverly"],"year_tesim":["2003"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Joyce Marie Williams"],"keyword_tesim":["Crisis (Psychology)"],"publisher_tesim":["United Theological Seminary (OH)"],"subject_tesim":["Cross Creek Community Church (Centerville, Ohio)","Spiritual life--Christianity","Psychology"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["The project was designed to address the spiritual transforming faith journey of persons who have experienced a 'paralysis' of spirit, mind, and body through life-altering crises at Cross Creek Community Church in Centerville, Ohio. This realization enhances self-esteem which in turn directs persons to the wholeness and joy of the Lord. Participants, through a personal study of theology and psychology, were given the opportunity to integrate their insights into human life. Each project associate had time for self-reflection and discovery so that they, as the church, could work intentionally at being an affirming body. The author outlined this concept, termed 'affirmation', and its biblical, theological and psychological bases. He reported the process of the project, as well as the results. The project included contextual and biographical statements. It showed positive results and is considered a success."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["United Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["f0f9c284-37b6-440c-96ab-39e6509e82ee"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791129146422722560,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:11:04.310Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-11T22:14:11Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T07:23:44Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"e1a1a9aa-aa3f-431a-9dbc-f319634c1661","accessControl_ssim":["976d7a87-ae3f-4585-9549-3b857eb876d9"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Stress release: a wholistic stress management seminar"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-11T22:14:10Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T04:35:25Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["951593f5-e7f8-41de-a387-4a9b4b75fa95"],"hasLease_ssim":["987d6391-9267-4c61-973f-19a648b6b841"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["United Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Allan R Laubenthal"],"year_tesim":["1984"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Ken Studer"],"publisher_tesim":["United Theological Seminary (OH)"],"subject_tesim":["Medicine--Religious aspects","Theological anthropology","Seventh-Day Adventists","Stress management","Norwalk Seventh Day Adventist Church","Church group work","Psychology"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This project report describes the design, development, implementation and evaluation of a seminary which sought to deal wholistically with the physical, mental and psychological aspects of stress from a Seventh Day Adventist perspective.
