The methodology utilized to accomplish this goal was the qualitative approach. The results revealed that as persons gained a better awareness of themselves, they were better able to draw from their experiences to form relationships with other people, the crux of new faith communities. The focus was on intentional discipleship through an adult Christian education program of Bible, in combination with behavioral and spiritual disciplines to increase biblical knowledge, change behavior, and change attitudes toward discipleship. The data suggests that there were positive changes in biblical literacy, attitude, the practice of spiritual disciplines, and in making disciples.
