The project includes the development of a pre- and post-evaluative tool to collect feedback from the participants, and the writing of Bible study materials which can be used by individuals or in a class setting. In becoming a church for the unchurched, the church moves from separation to restoration, from incarceration to incarnation, from toleration to invitation, from isolation to identification, from alienation to participation, from assimilation to motivation, and from procrastination to transformation.  The biblical foundations, plans, and practices lead the church forward in the journey. Following this journey at the United Methodist Temple Church in Clarksburg, West Virginia, worship has grown by fifty per cent and of new members received over half are new Christians.  Eight new ministries have been formed. Methodology included surveys, interviews, and the involvement of pastors, laypeople, and church administrators in developing an evaluation process and instruments.
