Improvements were measured through beginning and ending completion of the Jay Hall Conflict Management Survey; a comparison of participants' beginning and ending survey scores with a control group of eleven pastors who completed the survey at similar intervals; and participants' final reports on the accomplishment of goals stated at the beginning.  Seminar work included a consideration of 1. identity issues for the pastor; 2. theology and ministry; 3. theology of the church; 4. theology of conflict; and 5. the pastor's role as manager.  Conflict case studies of participants were also shared and evaluated. Part II highlights the biological and psychological aspects of the sex education program that was carried on among the high school young people at the First Reformed Church of Alexander, Iowa.  Part III discusses the Heidelberg Catechism and shows how its theological concepts can be applied specifically to the issues of human sexuality.  An evaluation based on a questionnaire distributed to the students completes the thesis.
