Prior to the inception of this project, the members of this young congregation were complacent with the idea of staying within the walls of their edifice and expect members to come looking for the church, instead of the church's reaching out into the communities to win souls for Christ. Using style approach on leadership, the study evaluated how a change of a pastor's leadership in EunHyun church affected members' behavioral change.  To test the research question, the study identified and assessed the previous and current pastors' leadership style.  Subsequently, members were administered a survey in which three main variables were explored.  The current pastor had a more relationship-focusing leadership than the previous pastor. United Methodism features governance derived from sources in John Wesley's eighteenth-century reform movement. It is shaped by subsequent attempts to define the denomination in the context of American culture. Two significant schisms, O'Kelly Republican Methodism in 1792 and Methodist Protestantism in 1828, represent these challenges to Wesley's construct. The author studies the historical origins of the denomination and sister denominations to determine the ecology of the Church.  Community diversity and postmodernism influence this problem.  The author interviewed 68 individuals regarding reasons for leaving churches.  Sociological differences, varying stages of faith development, and possible misunderstanding give insight on the gap between pastor and congregants.  Rediscovering the communal foundation of the Eucharist may help.
