The first body of literature dealt with postmodernity and the generational distinctiveness and nuances of that field. The author claims that Millennials (born between 1982-2000) are the most postmodern generation to date. The second body of literature deals exclusively with postmodernity and its relationship specifically with white-upper-middle-class youth ministry in the United States. In the third and final section, the author interviewed several Millennial students, asking them to share their insights concerning personal cross-cultural immersion experiences done through the local congregation at the Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["5a6e4a36-5801-4bff-8e61-86d7489efb4a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799718029551992832,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T02:27:41.557Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T11:40:52Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T01:50:28Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"62a81351-4870-4d86-96cc-c100aac4a36a","accessControl_ssim":["391c62b4-ce4b-4896-b6fd-ef9f492a940d"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Rethinking pastoral leadership: feed my sheep"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T11:40:51Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T01:01:17Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["2bb00c8c-ee5c-4cc5-b61f-918ab148aef6"],"hasLease_ssim":["3034aba7-a487-4711-be01-3e5602ffbd04"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Doctor of Ministry"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Michael S Koppel"],"year_tesim":["2007"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min. First the author established the parallels between the ecclesiology of Wesley and the theology of Natural Church Development.
