Administered by a denomination, the process helps clarify the group's agenda and thrust, further tightening loyalty to the association of churches.  The foundational basis for the mentoring is drawn from Scripture as well as related literature.  An approach is drawn and a mentor agenda is suggested with themes drawn from a survey of ministers as to which topics need emphasizing and suitable for mentoring moments. The goal was to foster personal growth in seminarians as they prepared for pastoral ministry.  In the project, the first division documents how this experiment in personal growth was carried out.  Section A carefully outlines the methodology used and describes in detail the composition of the class of students.  Section B reveals how tensions arose in the group which ultimately forced modifications to the course. Section C highlights the innovations used to foster further fellowship and growth.  Section D explains and gives the results of the various testing used to discern growth in the students.  These tests indicated clearly that the students did grow academically, professionally, and personally as a result of the project.
