To overcome these barriers, the Eastern Russian version was produced with a contextual cover, alternate terms and names of biblical characters, and footnotes with a Muslim audience in mind. This dissertation examines the premises and processes of the production of this version anthropologically, linguistically and missiologically.  It also evaluates the effectiveness of its contextualization through qualitative field research. The popularity of STM has increased to the point where it has become a major trend in missions. This study examines and analyzes the effects of North American STM to Mexico from the perspective of Mexican pastors (emic perspective), providing an avenue for the Mexican pastors to give feedback to the North American STM teams. It reviews biblical foundations for servant leadership and dimensions of its contextualization among the Isaan. It investigates and defends the thesis that apprenticeship is an appropriate and effective methods for developing servant leaders in Isaan. Effectiveness is evaluated through action research, applied to the leadership training program of LIFE. Qualitative materials compliment quantitative analysis for a mixed method analysis. The training approach produced new leaders. After an introduction to multi-site church concepts, this ecclesiology develops from Scripture five essential characteristics of a local church and then applies them to multi-site churches. Based upon the perspective of its national hosts, the researcher found that those nationals participating in the E3 model were catalyzed into church planting activities. Utilizing historical research methodology, the author studied the response of CBInternational to the globalization of missions between 1989 and 2004. His research identified both the thinking and the resulting actions of CBInternational. Based on biblical, theological and missiological principles, an analysis of CBInternational's response is presented.
