Because the church has multiple campuses in different areas of New Orleans, the demographic breakdown for each campus varies from that of the other campuses. The churchwide and campus specific pastors, worship leaders, and staff desire to meet the needs of the ethnicities represented in the congregations of each campus and would therefore welcome any guidance for planning multiethnic worship services.\r\n\r\nUtilizing the ministry research model outlined in the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary Project in Ministry Handbook, I researched the worship service planning practices of 101 multiethnic churches across North America. In order to discover similar best practices that may be applicable at Celebration Church. I started by researching the field of family worship to identify the essential competencies by reading books, articles, and other projects.\r\n\r\nAfter the research was complete, I developed teaching outlines to equip selected parents at The Hill Church in Liberty Hill, Texas, on how to lead family  worship. I learned curriculum development skills through seminars at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and through meetings with a curriculum specialist. The curriculum, which included four lessons, taught about family worship and how to lead it at home.\r\n\r\nOnce the curriculum was developed, I hosted a conference-style training session to equip parents with the competencies of family worship. The training spanned two days and consisted of four sessions. Once the training was complete, participants had two weeks to practice family worship at home. After the two weeks, I visited to evaluate the family's understanding and execution of family worship.
