The project began with exploring the internal demographics of First Baptist Church Wiggins, Mississippi, to identify young adult members and their progress toward spiritual maturity. The next step explored existing strategies of young adult discipleship and identified best practices. The project utilized a strategic leadership team consisting of a broad group of church members to develop a young adult discipleship strategy for First Baptist Church, Wiggins, Mississippi. I, the project director, selected a Generation Z youth ministry disciple-making team of six members. Next, I researched Generation Z’s religious views, social practices, and mental health. Then I researched disciple-making strategies, methods, and practices and evaluated which were best to make Generation Z youth disciples. I then presented the research findings to the youth ministry disciple-making team. Next, the youth ministry disciple-making team and I developed and conducted assessments of the NZBC youth ministry. Then I complied the findings to develop a Generation Z youth disciple-making \r\nstrategy for NZBC youth ministry. The priority of any Christian church should be discipleship. Without discipleship training, evangelism, missions, worship, and Christians engaging in fellowship with one another, the church’s health will diminish. The mission of the church is to “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations” (Matt. 28:19). Because of this God-mandated mission, a curriculum for equipping members of the church to become disciple-making leaders is essential for longterm church growth and health. I trained selected Dorsett Shoals Baptist Church members to disciple new, immature Christians, and other church members who want to grow in their Christian faith. I developed the discipleship training by researching the area of discipleship and synthesizing the information into a discipleship curriculum to equip the selected members with essential disciple-making skills. I will research various fields of discipleship to determine the most effective methods and incorporate them into a plan for parents to use with technology. Then, I will create a workshop curriculum to equip a selected group of parents with technology-based discipleship skills. Each session of the workshop will address a different step of the plan and provide informative data along with practical application steps. The project director collected data and developed adult lifestyle profiles for the church and its ministry area. The project director used the profiles to lead the disciple-making strategy team to assess the effectiveness of the church’s current disciple-making strategy. The project researched adult disciplemaking and adult disciple-making strategies, examined existing models of adult disciplemaking, and surveyed leaders from a select group of churches to develop a list of best practices for Calvary. The project director then formed a disciple-making strategy team by selecting and training thirteen members from the church. The project director led the team through six training sessions to develop an adult disciple-making strategy for Calvary. The project director and the team presented the strategy to the church elders for approval. The elders approved the strategy and recommended it to the church for adoption.
