The context in which the project takes place will be explicit for the reader and the projected resolution to the problem will also be advocated. Definitions and explanations of the terminologies used in this report will serve to remind the reader of the perimeters of the project. The reader will then be led through research in worship and the planning of worship which supports the thesis of this report. The study presents a definition of theological reflection, a brief history of the theological reflection process and its theoretical framework and several applications in specific programs.  Out of them, fifteen theological reflection instruments are developed for use in a session meeting. The instruments are used and tested in the sessions of five Presbyterian churches of the Presbytery of Philadelphia, Presbyterian Church (USA).
