He presents insights from interviews with community stakeholders along with creative marketing strategies to launch a capital campaign to keep members excited. New Beginnings is a new paradigm for ministry with Black youth. It is a non-traditional church organized around three primary aspects related to Black youth: language, life issues, and liturgy. The church intentionally speaks the language of Black youth, deals honestly with their life issues (poverty, addictions, sexuality), all within the context of a youth-centered liturgy.
