The process of 'faith story-sharing,' a methodology designed to enable older adults to recall, share and celebrate their individual faith journeys, is introduced and utilized to allow elders to explore the meaning of their life stories in relationship to the biblical story and their identity in their communities. The author researched current life review and reminiscence methods and then developed a unique process that differs in three distinct ways: faith story-sharing is (1) faith-based, (2) a communal experience, and (3) honors the cultural and religious traditions of older African American women. They have been tamed in the patriarchal social system for so many years that they now support this value system and reject women's independence, self-identities, and public leadership.  The author set up a Bible study program to meet the special goal of helping the women of the Christ Central United Methodist Church to understand their own lives and situations. This Bible study program is designed to be an extension and a continuation of the monthly gathering of the Women's Mission Group (YeoSunkoWhoe: United Methodist Women).  five sessions will be carried out over the period of five months. Each session comprises a Bible study, discussion, report, and dinner. The Bible study is focused on the lives of the five women in the Bible. The participants will have opportunities to observe the lives of these women in the Bible and reflect their stories on the participant's own lives. He sought to determine how life in covenant with other clergy around a specific theme could edify the body and help each to grow in faith and grace on the order of the first Methodist preachers. As a result of this study, the followings conclusions can be made. (1) The coordinator of the HBRC must be permitted to participate in team decision making as an equal. (2) The coordinator of the HBRC must be empowered to make decisions pertaining to the center's ministry independent of the team of district superintendents when necessary. (3) A process of discernment needs to be established and implemented to discern the types of ministries needed in Baltimore. This process should be inclusive of as many voices as possible. (4) An advisory committee needs to be established to address concerns of the center, structural and ministerial. (5) There is a basic flaw between available resources and the authority to pursue ministries, rendering the HBRC dysfunctional. The Gospel Wagon is an evangelistic tool that combines witnessing and peace. Using video observation and participant interviews, this study explores the impact of leadership, a formational method of Bible study, the interlacing power of stories, prayer, conversation, and silence, in order to determine the efficacy of this small group model.
