This project documents the process of cooperation between the governing bodies of the two congregations to form this covenant agreement and the mutual ministries they share. Venture in Faith shares the physical facilities and several programs.  The study explores difficulties encountered in reaching the agreement and also current concerns.  It projects future possibilities for mutual mission. In the beginning of the two-year saga, they perceive their task as survival in spite of all obstacles. They are both adversarial and victimized. The situation requires a relentless application of practical truth and pastoral care in a context of theological reflection. A system which included the development of a diocesan armed forces was established and chairpersons were appointed by the bishops to assist congregations in becoming caring people for those away from home.  This project was given theological and biblical impetus through the study of I Corinthians 12. The author designed and conducted a process for a small group that incorporated practices of faith, explicit theological reflection and discussion of potentially divisive issues facing the Anglican Church of Canada.  She sought to discover whether such a process strengthened unity and to explore the function of the ordained parish leader in the process.
