Affirming that relational behavior is learned and volitional, that teaching the behavior of agape is an essential goal in Christian education, and choosing a 'confluent' approach which blends the 'cognitive' and 'affective' dimensions of learning, an eight session course, 'It's About Love', is presented. A six session seminar was conducted with ten lay persons.  Outside reading and journal keeping were required.  Counseling techniques were taught relating to listening, grief, depression and spiritual crisis.  The participants were involved in one-on-one practice sessions.
