This objective was achieved through in-depth interviews of church pastors who were responsible for the spiritual well-being of the single women in their churches. They are owner- managers of their business, with the oldest being 63 years of age and the youngest 38. All interviewees were obtained through personal contacts, and the interviews conducted by the author personally. This is limited study that aims to identify the various characteristics of Chinese entrepreneurship, the influence of Confucianism on Chinese entrepreneurship and the reasons why these entrepreneurs started their businesses. The analysis of the research was synthesized into twelve significant observations. We then applied these principles into our local church to guide us in our pursuit of spiritual renewal. Mature disciples trained in ministry apartments have been reproducing, thus augmenting the local churches. Disciple-making programs provide opportunities for the exercise of God-given abilities and enhance international networking. The study discusses the traditional Chinese family-orientation and its continued influence in the values, attitudes and behavior of the English-educated, urban middle-class Singapore Chinese.  The introduction of Western cultural norms through the process of modernization was readily accepted as a basis for marriage and family life. Team leadership was found to be most relevant in contemporary, cosmopolitan Singapore.  It is both adaptable to Asian values and responsive to socio-economic factors affecting both the society and the Church.
