In addition to a supportive process the project sought to address the spiritual dimensions of the cancer experience.  Three models for reflection were tested: Jesus' Paschal Mystery, the religious practice of pilgrimage and the stations of the cross.  Using surveys, as well as discussion and observation over six weeks, data show an improvement in how the women saw their experience.
