There were three main steps in reaching this goal: the exegesis of biblical principles to find the model of Jesus' incarnational ministry, the exegesis of the Thai Buddhist context, and the development of a Thai contextualized model for building an effective ministry. The findings from field studies supported the library research about the belief system of the Thai Buddhist students and their value orientations. This study employed qualitative research to examine the reflections of Christians who have assimilated Zen practice into their Christian lives. The result is a Ministry of Presence enriched by mindfulness, acceptance, and lovingkindness among other Buddhist principles. Presents an interfaith model for how the teachings and practices of the Buddhist traditions might be utilized by Christians in their own spiritual development. This model is based on a 'Spiritual Formation Guidebook' designed around the framework of the Buddhist Noble Eightfold Path and including corresponding Christian insights. A sampling of laity, clergy, and seminary professors used the guidebook for one month and then provided their overwhelmingly positive evaluations. There were three dialogue sessions in the project. Each session lasted about two hours.  The dialogue partners were a priest, a pastor and lay members from each religious community.  The methodology of the dialogue was questions and answers.  A set of questions was formulated to focus on the concerns of each dialogue session.  This project has confirmed that a beginning level of understanding is possible in interfaith
