It seeks to answer this question through a simple, exegetical inquiry into the meaning of pistis in Romans 3-4 and Galatians 2-3. Pistis is examined because its meaning is the heart of the debate. By looking at Paul's use of pistis in the surrounding context ofsix of the seven occurrences of pistis Christou, this project expands the evidence for a proper translation. Through an exploratory quantitative design, the researcher sought to extract information that would have implications for professional social practice, social work ethical and practice pedagogy, and for faith-based institutions of higher learning. A theological reflection included a brief examination of Aristotle, St. Thomas, Newburg and non-violent atonement theology. The literature review included Kohlberg, Freud and Skinner's views on moral development. Therefore, Gospel drug rehabilitation is the main concern in this research study.  The research method is based on qualitative research including 35 male drug addicts who were in the Operation Dawn as the subjects in this study.  These methods also include getting to know the drug addicts, in-depth interviews, and lastly forms theory. The study uncovers male drug addicts successfully giving up drugs and continuing to maintain drug-free, and the main factor is the faith in
