A twelve week session was conducted with students presenting case studies on assigned areas of life and ministry using the proposed theological reflection paradigm.  This was then processed in a group setting for mentoring and community progression. They were asked what they found to be difficult and enriching during internship. Data gained through questionnaires, journal exercises, and interviews provided a narrative and anecdotal commentary of their experiences.  Mutual accountability, ethical responsibility, and the nature of the intern-supervisor relationship surfaced as areas of concern. The author sought to discover whether or not such a ministerial identity appropriation took place; how students recognized such an appropriation; and to what extent the process of theological reflection in the seminar setting was critical to the act of appropriation. The SIM concept indicates that faculty will carry out on-campus academic activities as well as off-campus field work with undergraduate theological students on a weekly basis.  The first part develops a theoretical framework to obtain criteria for the evaluation.  The second part contains the perceptions stated by respondents to a survey on the SIM concept.  Results indicated that the concept is widely accepted. To increase their personal and structural awareness of sexism, a method of theological reflection on sexism and ministry was designed and used. The qualitative and feminist research methodology gathered data by means of field notes, journals, evaluations and presentations of the theological reflection method. Consciousness, theology and behaviour were manifestly altered in each of the four seminarians. The methodology is feminist and therefore attempts to break free from traditional understandings of research. The focus of the research is on the women's experience of ministry and supervision and their understanding of spirituality and their vision of ministry with women.  The insights from this study include the effect of patriarchal structures on women, the lack of skills of critical analysis to identify patriarchal reality, the minimal support and nurture for feminists' spirituality, and the limited provision of opportunity to discuss theology from a feminist perspective.  Implications for field education are
