The author offers an analysis of church membership decline which is linked to congregational over-dependence on the proclamation model of evangelism, and the failure to engage in relationship-based growth strategies. The results of this study suggest that through emphasizing the practice and importance of God's love as defined in the Great Commandment, church members can express an increased desire to invest in reaching the community as commanded by Christ in the Great Commission."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Denver Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["e7af129f-938f-4821-9463-dc6ded35d563"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791133284114104320,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:16:50.320Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T16:53:17Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T08:40:46Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"d2661bf6-a19a-4620-a71f-d36aa69343b6","accessControl_ssim":["4a2f4f65-4037-494a-b427-7d1d9d1b0fe3"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["A training in healing and deliverance ministry"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T16:53:16Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T04:08:40Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["3dd7aa6f-ff0b-49b6-a6a1-27b706131315"],"hasLease_ssim":["4bd00aa1-df4e-4b8c-a5c0-c932ed3712c3"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Logos Evangelical Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Wilfred Su","Hing Wong"],"year_tesim":["2015"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Po Hsiung Yang"],"publisher_tesim":["Logos Evangelical Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["God--Love","Pastoral theology","Spiritual healing","Salvation--Biblical teaching"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This research explores God's heart for people through the purpose of 'healing and deliverance.' We see Jesus display God's heart through Luke 4:16-21 of the New Testament. By God's power and anointing, Jesus spreads the heavenly gospel to display that Christ is the Messiah and also God and thus fulfilling Isaiah 61:1-3. After Jesus rose again and ascended into Heaven, the disciples gathered in Jerusalem to await the promised Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit descended upon the disciples during the Pentecost, bringing them authority and enabling them to proclaim the heavenly gospel throughout the nations. By Christ's great power, many people received healing and deliverance. This research also includes the deductions made by experts on this subject and personal experiences in ministry to analyze the probable method that 'healing and deliverance' will be valued and utilized by churches to shepherd their people. The research content and area of this dissertation: 1.To investigate the theological principles behind 'healing and deliverance' and investigate the methods Jesus and his disciples used to serve; 2.Study the work of destruction Satan has initiated on Earth so Christians can overcome the power of darkness; 3.Provide breakthrough and the appropriate solution by answering: 'What subjective and objective challenges in the environment are faced during healing and deliverance?'; and, 4.Learn ways to establish authority and victory for the army of the Lord, save people for God. Let 'healing and deliverance' become the focus of every church's work."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Logos Evangelical Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["54e7729a-4915-469f-8fd5-c7bb7ccd6c20"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791134792523186176,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:40:48.851Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T16:05:35Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T07:47:09Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"d67ff1e3-dd57-403c-946c-99d4e83b5ca2","accessControl_ssim":["659d2aa3-f0e6-4626-93c9-d10a38a4d206"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Attachment to God: the transformational relationship"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T16:05:34Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T04:15:47Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["3dc20534-8a9e-43ca-8a76-b09c3119233a"],"hasLease_ssim":["5c7207c3-4f6d-4603-8bd6-a0c54df3d164"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Ashland Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["R Neal Siler"],"year_tesim":["2014"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Sheri Lynn McCallister"],"keyword_tesim":["Relation (Theology)","God and human beings","Practice (Theology)"],"publisher_tesim":["Ashland Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["God--Love","Attachment behavior","Spiritual healing","Experience (Religion)","Christianity"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["The purpose of this project was to impact relationships with God in a select group of women from Kenosha, Wisconsin, through participation in an eight-week group experience focused on attachment issues. Furthermore, Jesus, as epitomizing this symbol, demonstrates that the most significant characteristic of the heart is its vulnerableness to the love of God. Therefore, a secondary premise of this thesis is that human vulnerability, as a posture of faith, is essential to human self-fulfillment. Being penetrated is not necessarily a contradiction to be avoided but can lead to opportunities for human growth and entrance intod the Kingdom of God. In line with this premise, Jesus has been interpreted (functionally) as the Mediator who reveals the Fatherhood of God as grace and compassion on the one hand and, on the other, that the true posture of faith is seen as a vulnerable heart. The last chapter argues that the Fatherhood of God, revealed in Jesus as compassion and grace, contains feminine characteristics which posit genuine vulnerabiity of God's nature which can be held together in an androgynous model."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Miscellaneous"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["4f3e9d5f-fc19-4d44-a264-44b56604eb9a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata
