The hypothesis of this project was that 'Personality types, as defined by Jung and measured by the Keirsey Temperament Sorter, significantly influence the way a preacher presents the material from the biblical text in his sermons.' The result of this project was that there was a significant difference between the way that the Sensing personality type and the Intuitive personality type preach. The research method used was Participatory Action Research (PAR) in an eight-week, small group process. All adults were able to identify personal growth as a result of the experience. The result will help shape future group experiences for the purpose of encouraging midlife adults to expand their personal awareness and trust their own insights as they continue their spiritual journeys."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Columbia Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["b5eba5c2-141b-4673-9689-2f9720736859"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791129760330416128,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:20:49.777Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T14:15:45Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T02:56:35Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"5067a07e-b664-406e-b478-d9cd66ceb9c7","accessControl_ssim":["315682c6-18cd-416a-97de-50751cebb8b8"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Enhancing comfort care for individual hospice patients by teasing out meaning from their dreams, comments and behaviors"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T14:15:44Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T00:29:28Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["45b11f40-cce4-4ea8-94e3-3bfa0f9528a3"],"hasLease_ssim":["35a8f83d-6272-42bf-b853-33db03dc32f7"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities"],"advisor_tesim":["Clyde J Steckel"],"year_tesim":["2012"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["William Paul Steinke"],"publisher_tesim":["United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities"],"subject_tesim":["Psychology, Religious","Caregivers","Hospices (Terminal care)","Terminal care","Jung, C. Paul's ultimate mission goal is to be transformed into the image of Christ (2 Cor. 3:18), and Rom. 7:14-25 is an example of the ongoing dynamic journey of integrating the shadow and Christ in the transformation process."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["United Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["f0f9c284-37b6-440c-96ab-39e6509e82ee"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791129317026037760,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:13:47.010Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T09:29:12Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T01:46:55Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"1c43b94d-55cf-4d5b-9bb2-1ff2d242d90a","accessControl_ssim":["c4253b08-a59f-4907-a73f-c03040d35b2d"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Marriage as a psychological and spiritual relationship to wholeness"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T09:29:11Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T22:57:50Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["bca747f2-bd95-460c-b102-2101b805ac01"],"hasLease_ssim":["4dd04e82-6f7a-4d7b-8af8-ffd85df763b5"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["St Andrew's College (Saskatoon, SK)"],"advisor_tesim":["Gordon Oaks"],"year_tesim":["2004"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Mercedes B Gilpatric"],"keyword_tesim":["Hierogamia"],"publisher_tesim":["St Andrew's College (Saskatoon, SK)"],"subject_tesim":["Marriage counseling","Jung, C. The author argues for an active marriage ministry, particularly in the Roman Catholic tradition dominated by a celibate clerical hierarchy. Research involved interviews with leaders in marriage ministry, personal involvement in creating a marriage ministry in a Roman Catholic parish in Chicago, and the development of a research model exploring couples' experience of shared prayer. The author expressed the results of this research in a manual, Marriage matters, as a guide for couples and churches committed to facilitating the mutual spiritual and psychological growth of couples."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Miscellaneous"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["4f3e9d5f-fc19-4d44-a264-44b56604eb9a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799715464902868992,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T01:46:55.717Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T06:39:21Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T06:41:02Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"80c11b16-4721-465a-ad95-61d670dd71e0","accessControl_ssim":["7f262e14-8117-42d4-b01f-19f04478f38f"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Vessels of evocation"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T06:39:20Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T01:55:55Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["92b08148-d147-4a7a-b9c4-dfc3bad2ae27"],"hasLease_ssim":["9e87b21e-8285-4356-a0a8-29061ce468f4"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["St Stephen's College (Edmonton, AB)"],"advisor_tesim":["Richard L Laplante"],"year_tesim":["1998"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Henry M Comerford"],"publisher_tesim":["St. Stephen's College University of Alberta"],"subject_tesim":["Art and religion","Tillich, Paul, 1886-1965","Creative ability","Jung, C.
