This project is composed of three parts: theoretical research, the application of ODT to the KMC, and a case study of a local church. The project also explores how Christians can establish a worshipful daily life. For several years evangelism as verbal proclamation has dominated the mission effort of the KMC.  Such a focus results in numeric growth, but issues of spiritual maturity and responsible social witness have been neglected.  To be faithful to the biblical mandate, the KMC needs to find balance between verbal proclamation and social witness as taught in the Bible. The course content was developed out of a study of biblical and theological foundations of mission, a review of the history of Korean overseas mission, and a survey of present understandings of mission in these same five churches.  Questionnaires administered before and after the course indicated changed attitudes toward critical issues in overseas missions policy and practice. The results of this project revealed that the teachers have a strong sense of vocation and commitment as teachers.  However, they lack self-confidence as teachers due to their inadequate training and preparation.
