The curriculum requires no reading skills. Using Martin Luther's Small Catechism and basic Bible stories the residents will learn, as they are able, the love God has for them. An Affirmation of Baptism service is included. The intent of this service is to enable these people and their families to celebrate this milestone in their lives. Persons with intellectual disabilities are thirsting to learn about the love God has for them. The setting was a large residential facility for the mentally handicapped.
