The project director utilized the research model described in the current New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary Doctor of Ministry Handbook. The project director researched a wide range of sources to gain a foundational understanding of pastoral internship programs across a broad spectrum of denominations. He used the material discovered through the research to develop a manual that will be used at Grace Baptist Church, as well as other churches, to implement a pastoral internship program within the context of the local church.
