A course of study was written to be taught in ten lessons covering the following subjects: the mandate to evangelize, memorization, personal testimony, gospel content, commitment, pre-evangelism, handling objections, and follow up.  An accompanying teacher's manual was provided.  Teaching methodology included the use of an overhead projector, role playing, lecture, discussion, and small group activities. A handbook resulted which enriched the understanding of spiritual life and ministry in-process.  Positive feedback, as well as constructive criticism, came from the participating volunteers. The project contends that formulating the doctrine through an inductive study of relevant terms and texts leads to an alternative model, one that is different than that which is popularly taught.  The project shows that spirit-filling is not a subjective experience to be sought to achieve greater piety or power. Six themes were chosen: remembrance, proclamation, fellowship, self-examination, expectation, and thanksgiving. The celebration of these themes in worship was intended to be for the edification and inspiration of the worshipper. An evaluation form was used to determine (on a scale of 1-10) the result of the worship service to an individual's life.
