Six monologue/sermons were written and presented for worship and to other church groups.  The goal was to present Peck historically and spiritually within the context of marginal personality. Each presentation was video-taped and critiqued by lay and clergy groups.  This genre revealed dramatic limitations which led to the writing of a seventh, much longer drama which added a narrator and bit parts. The works of Frederiick Buechner provided perspective, commentary, and a medium of exchange between the biblical world and the world of contemporary listeners. This paper applies hermeneutics to the parish using the context of the Kerygma Bible Study program.  Extensive hermeneutical research was done, especially emphasizing the writings of James A Sanders.  Liberation and feminist hermeneutics also were discussed. The catechism is one of the most important books in the Anglican Church because it is used for the education of faith for newcomers and for the congregation as well.  The relevant available literature on catechisms was consulted as a theoretical and theological background, followed by research through a questionnaire.
