The ability to utilize music appropriately and skillfully is instrumental in bringing about an awareness of the manifested presence of God during worship. The context of this ministry model is a private school at Gravel Run Baptist Church in Dinwiddie, VA. Students were the same age, grade level, culture, and received similar courses of study. Student and parent interviews were also done to obtain deeper insight. The context of the ministry model was an inner-city church in the mid-Atlantic region. The method used a one-group pretest-posttest instruction design that was evaluated through questionnaires, in-process evaluations compose of open- and closed-ended questions, and attendance measurements. The study focused on the Gospel of John and the communication of five doctrinally specific messages, which were preached to a congregation of military men and women, Department of Defense workers, retirees, and their families. The Church Planting Location and Model Guide was developed for demonstrating linkages between the church planter, the focus area, and the church model. New and veteran church planters throughout Virginia field-tested the tool by gathering demographic and psychographic information. The author researched biblical and other historical revivals, as well as other revival literature.  He also surveyed his congregation and other pastors and ministry leaders to help determine his approach.  A theology of revival was derived from Scripture and a plan to stir a hunger for revival was developed from that theology.  The plan that was implemented focused primarily on the word of God and prayer. A seven-hour course was taught and two meetings of the graduates were conducted. The comparison of the post-test responses to the pre-test responses along with the post group interview showed a significant amount of comprehension and willingness to carry out economic empowerment ministry.
