The analytical aspect enabled the participants to appraise one's personal foundation for spiritual leadership. Air Force","Church work with military personnel"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["The purpose of this project is to develop a preaching rhetoric that will communicate more effectively with the postmodern mind of Generation X Air Force military personnel, through the use of multimedia and drama that are culturally relevant and familiar to baby busters, while maintaining scriptural integrity.  Generation X worldviews are examined with consideration of the historical perspectives on rhetoric, preaching, technology and the limits of persuasion.  The author preached four sermons at Nellis Air Force Base Generation X worship services.  Evaluations show high levels of comprehension, effect toward change, interest and personal identification. Following an orientation retreat, the ten volunteers participated in twelve weeks of supervision, wherein the participants created their own ministry covenants, ministry job descriptions, and planned and evaluated specific ministry assignments. Results demonstrate what leadership and membership believe is necessary to live the Spirit-filled life.  Further, the research identifies the balance between the impact of local leadership and private disciplines.  The study identifies how to lead membership into Spirit-filled living and witness. Third, to be prepared to defend the unity of the Bible by relating unity to the kingdom.  Six sermons were preached with sermon notes.  Small group material was included. Biblical foundations for this work exist in stories about Moses and the letter to the Philippians.  There are also historical precedents.  Various studies have found that such groups can help individuals manage stress.  Forty ministry personnel were invited to participate in this study as part of facilitated, non-facilitated or control groups.  Stress and coping were measured using Human Synergistic's Stress Processing Report.
