Needs become apparent and resistant attitudes change. Volunteers become so involved in rewards of one-on-one ministry that they put aside racial issues. Based on research in Psalms scholarship, poetics, speech, homiletics, and theology, the project devises preaching strategies appropriate to the genre in order to prepare, present, and evaluate response to five propositional and five genre-sensitive sermons.
