This diversity, under guidance of the Holy Spirit and (in part) through the ministry of preaching, can be harnessed for great good in carrying out local church mission.  The project directed a process that drafted a statement of congregational identity for approval by the congregation. This result was attributed to the inclusion of both active and potential leaders. The project prepares young adult leaders to develop a ministry plan for young adults, teaching them characteristics and needs of young adults, training them to develop and implement surveys, and directing them in developing a ministry plan based on survey results.  The ministry plan was evaluated by selected church leaders and three young adult ministers.
