The project designed a curriculum of eight training sessions and five strategy-development sessions.  The entire church heard a series of eight sermons on the life and mission of the church.  The project studied an experimental group and two control groups, using a pretest and posttest to measure cognitive changes in the groups.  Statistical analysis of the tests reported a change in Control Group A and a significant change in the experimental group. One of the most significant biblical texts pertaining to discipleship is the Sermon on the Mount. This project assists a small group of Christians to grow in knowledge and understanding of the Sermon on the Mount, demonstrating and applying this knowledge and understanding in their lives. This project produces a study guide to be used by group members in daily family instruction. Weekly learning activities involve entire families in discipleship, supplemented by a sermon series in the local church. Since then Christians have debated just how he intended to have it built.  Although the debate has ranged widely, this project concentrates on where the church should meet, emphasizing the role of house churches today. Does the Bible mandate house churches as Christ's intended design for the church? This project examines theological, biblical, historical, and practical arguments for house churches as  the only right way to be the church, placing them in the contexts of doctrine and culture.
