This project uses the seminary's supervised ministry program and adapts the program for the local church for sr high and college students not yet sure of the call of God for pastoral leadership.  Nine students interns were hired for a ten-week summer internship program structured under the model of supervised ministry. Eight youth--five males, three females--and four adults participated in a five-day trip.  The spiritual well-being scale was given as a pre-test and four- and twelve-week post-test.  Each teen kept a journal.  Females grew more than males.  Teens without a parent involved grew more than those with a parent participating.  The Religious Well-Being means rose each testing.  The Existential Well-Being means rose at four weeks, then fell below pre-test mean at twelve weeks. The author used didactic sessions, videos, discussion, and personal encounters to provide participants both cognitive and emotive learning experiences.  Participants were measured, before and after the project, regarding knowledge of alcohol addiction and repositioning of attitudes toward persons addicted to alcohol. The instruments used were the Taylor-Johnson Temperament Analysis, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Spiritual Gifts Inventory, Biblical Personal Profile, and the Spiritual Leadership Qualities Inventory.  Individualized plans for growth were developed based upon findings of the instruments.  The author found great benefit to be found in the communication that took place from the use of the instruments. In equipping believers to exercise discernment, hermeneutical training addressed the divine/human nature of Scripture and provided a model for interpreting Scripture given that nature.  Theological training explored the character of God, human free will and divine wrath, the covenant of grace and faith, and the transformational nature of salvation.  A model to use in exercising spiritual discernment was developed and practiced. The author sought respondents from a sample of greatly growing, a sample of moderately growing, and a sample of plateaued or declining Church of God congregations.  Sermons in greatly growing churches were significantly stronger in relevance/practicality, vision, a basis in God's Word, and focus of thought compared with sermons in moderately growing churches. The project shows how the bilingual preaching ministry can be performed.  The primary content of this field project report is the sermons the author preached in both English and Korean during the four months of the project along with reflections and analysis of the project.  He preached the core teachings of the Bible. The project consisted of five sessions with the young adult choir of Pendleton Street Baptist Church (Greenville, SC) in a retreat setting.  The group answered questionnaires and discussed how certain types of music met their spiritual needs and how it could be used to meet those of their generation.  The study concluded that hymnody, classical music and contemporary Christian music best met the needs of this particular group.
