Statistical hypothesis testing also reveals a significant difference in the rate of forced exits between pastors who have served primarily in disciplining churches and those who have not. The project was designed to utilize small study group instruction and proclamation to reach the stated goals.  The group learned Buddhist beliefs and the principles for Christian witnessing to the Buddhist as well as basic evangelistic skills. A book was written and tested by surveying Christians in the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI).  Results demonstrate evangelical families have frustrations with churches and ministers.  They also struggle with isolation, depression, fears, denial, family conflicts and concern over demons.  These who withdraw from Christian fellowship or think demons cause mental illness respond with lower test scores. Correlation is shown between the faith stage of clergy using the interview designed by James W Fowler and the type and style of continuing education they choose. The project outlined the result of a biblical and historical literature review and the development of a methodology used to examine local churches in Tucson, Arizona.  The study tested the proposition: there is a positive correlation between preaching and church growth.  The hypothesis of this combined descriptive and quasi-experimental research was: if this proposition is correct then tangible evidence exists that the emphasis of preaching will positively impact growth.  The first objective stated that an examination of the Bible would support the proposition.  A biblical search revealed that there existed a positive correlation between preaching and biblical church growth, both qualitatively and quantitatively. The author found substantial evidence linking the rise and wane of church growth with the emphasis and decline of preaching. The third objective stated that an examination of contemporary churches would support the proposition. Over 500 visitors pass through the church every year.  Most are seeking a new church.  In spite of this, attendance has remained flat for five years. Intentional involvement of new people should increase their chance of staying with the church.  Changes were made in purpose, vision, organization, and leadership. After one year, questionnaires were answered by those who stayed and left after attending for a while. Perceived encounters with angels were most frequent among charismatic Christians, less frequent among non-charismatic fundamentalists, and least frequent among Catholics. Descriptions of angelic of a divine presence, encounters with human beings perceived to be angels, and perceived encounters with celestial beings. Seeing the need of reaching the unreached Asian Indians with the gospel, the author developed a cross-cultural relational evangelism program for training lay members to be effective witnesses for Christ.  The project consisted of eleven sessions.  The participants demonstrated their understanding of cross-cultural relational evangelism and Hinduism and other beliefs in the posttest.
