These features were examined for implication for developing a model for an effective Africentric theological institute for youth.  Theoretical and methodological triangulation were used; data were derived from the stakeholders' meetings and the youth's quantitative and qualitative appraisal of the prototype institute.  The results identified seventeen salient features categorized as follows: input from stakeholders, recruitment and organizational processes and content. The purpose of the survey was to determine the level of stress and burnout in the pastors' lives.  The survey revealed that generally pastors are very satisfied with their calling as pastors, but they also revealed the pastors' strong proclivity to ignore wife and family, and to deny any possible warning signs of stress and burnout. Four components, a survey of Christian married adults, a survey of Christian singles, a study of the scriptural teachings regarding marriage, and a study of family therapy, psychological, and counseling resources furnished the specific objectives for pastoral premarital counseling.
