Since humor is part of the nature of God, it should also be a part of the nature of the individual and the church, and used in areas of pastoral care. Documentation is presented which shows that humor has therapeutic qualities. Humor serves as a necessary counterbalance to the serious nature of life, allows an individual to experience transcendence, redemption, and to express joy of one's salvation."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Columbia Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["b5eba5c2-141b-4673-9689-2f9720736859"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791128066391539712,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T06:53:54.312Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T01:54:45Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T07:08:28Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"a3a2435e-205d-469a-9165-72d7e09a8aa5","accessControl_ssim":["1b10a4b3-a738-43b8-a91c-3820e4325545"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Learning for liturgy"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T01:54:45Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T02:53:28Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["7378d817-01ff-449f-8cd0-7109788a4c0d"],"hasLease_ssim":["7a040487-d9b1-4bea-8223-e8fddc0ba698"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Columbia Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Sara Juengst"],"year_tesim":["1992"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["J Samuel Hobson"],"publisher_tesim":["Columbia Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Reformed Church","Christian education","Liturgics","Worship"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["Separation between worship and education has developed because of clergy roles, little lay participation, and division of the affective and cognitive.
