Didactic material presented an overview of sixteen topics pertinent to cross-cultural ministry, reinforced through analytical and experiential exercises. Outcomes sought active participation, self-reliance, and personal responsibility. Its methodology challenges Catholics conditioned into a passive faith stance by the lingering age of typography to listen, learn, and tell the sacred stories in a public forum.  By reclaiming the power of the oral traditions, the process of biblical storytelling forms small faith communities actively proclaiming and passing on the tradition while enhancing the liturgy of the Word.  It provides an immediate ecclesial solution to the shortage of priests by restructuring local sacramental communities into evangelists themselves. The author conducted an extensive personal study of the subject utilizing both technical and devotional sources.  During the ten-week project duration, the author preached sermons and led a task force of ten persons in a weekly, intensive study of prayer.  The disciplined practice of prayer increased in the church. A church with less than 10 per cent growth over five years becomes ineffective. However, a church that strives for both qualitative and quantitative growth will continue making useful disciples. This project's methodology was both practical and theological as the church evaluated where it was and where it needed to be.  Physical and spiritual growth occurred as the people examined biblically why they should grow.  This examination included Bible studies on the church's nature and mission as well as preaching on growth principles. The eight messages centered on eight hindrances, as discovered by survey, that most hampered aggressive witnessing.  The pastor organized members into small discussion groups, prayer groups, and witnessing teams to implement this plan. Each message was discussed and suggestions were given on how it could be applied in practical ministry.
