After presenting strict definitions of the terms 'power' and 'authority', he devotes most of the analysis of rabbinic power of the Talmudic, medieval, and modern periods from three psychological perspectives: analytical (Jungian), existential, and family systems. The need for support through grief education is essential for new and experienced caregivers alike. Training is most helpful when the caregiver is able to talk about personal feelings, beliefs and experiences; learn about phases of bereavement and grief responses; and apply these insights in typical caregiving situations.
