Teaching and training participants (twenty-five adult Christ-followers at Foundation Church, Sapulpa, Oklahoma) over a twelve-week period to pray and apply scriptures specifically addressing worry reduction and trusting in God throughout their day proved successful. The researcher studied the scriptures and identified three traits of biblical evangelism found within both the Old and New Testaments. Using the Diffusion of Innovation Theory as theoretical grounding, the researcher then developed and taught a six-week evangelism seminar and mentored five Air Force members on evangelism. The researcher conducted phenomenological interviews with the seminar attendees and mentees. Using a broad survey of churches in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States, this project demonstrates that many congregations do not provide opportunities for disabled individuals to serve in regular worship gatherings. Follow-up interviews with currently inclusive churches show that providing opportunities for people with disabilities to contribute to the worship service is manageable for most congregations and is beneficial to the church community. This project was based on the premise that theology is critically important in dealing with life's problems and in dealing with the universality of death. The project consisted of twenty-eight sermons preached over six months. The author's hope was that by hearing these sermons, his parishioners would have a deeper appreciation of the Nicene Creed. Team' and shared this learning and their experience of community. This team then invited our congregation to enter into a fuller understanding and experience of Christian community. The author was one of three designers and co-facilitators of this training. The project assesses the effectiveness of the course in enhancing interfaith leadership capacities and identifies twenty characteristics required of a competent leader in this emerging field. The project addressed an increasing trend of pastors leaving ministry who do not have the support nor varied skills to serve congregations. The community of practice model drew upon research that enduring learning takes places in association with others.
