'Sharing' takes place when an individual member of the congregation relates to the congregation an event he deems spiritually significant.  Personal sharing requires a greater degree of self-disclosure and transparency than impersonal sharing. In this trinitarian understanding of stewardship, Christian stewards are empowered through baptism to live as little Christs.  One of the critical needs is to reground stewardship in baptismal theology.  Baptismal theology also reveals the need for interpersonal relationships among God's people.  Without interpersonal relationships it is almost impossible to communicate and teach wholistic stewardship. Hymnody is used paradigmatically to demonstrate that worship and church administration are integrally related. The root meaning of 'liturgy' etymologically illustrates this point: leitourgia means 'the work of the people'. This paper suggests the thesis that worship and ministry are activities of all Christians (both clergy and laity). Church administration is the framework for effective ministry. In both contexts, that of mysticism and that of psychotherapy, paradoxes are set up in such a fashion that significant life change becomes possible for the mystical seeker/therapy client.  The process of change that is initiated by paradoxes is described using the models of the respective fields. A detailed decadal statistical study of its largest 200 churches was made along with demographic and other cultural data to illustrate the trends that are presently acting upon its ministry. A survey was taken of a number of churches and pastors in urban, suburban and rural areas to gain an understanding of the relationship of preaching to moral decision making.  Out of this a determination of satisfaction with pulpit ministry was compared to satisfaction with other pastoral functions. Work with the parish's Christian Service Task Force prompted research leading to the use of a pastoral letter by Bishop Howard Hubbard, and to Robert Greenleaf's Servant leadership. A synthesis of these sources produced a role description of the parish priest as that of affirming, coordinating and facilitating the lay ministry by fulfilling a 'first among equals' role in the context of the parish council.
