The Wayman Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church, in Dayton, Ohio, consists of many intergenerational and multigenerational families. Through a qualitative approach, the author developed a manual that facilitated its content in a support group. There is very little in the current literature that provides a conceptual framework for assessing the impact of culture on the grieving process from a theological/pastoral point of view. This project at Parkvue Healthcare in Sandusky, Ohio met families in their daily lives by providing scripture based suggestions for proactive relationship building.  A pretest of family members ascertained the degree of connection to their resident and related areas of anxiety.  Following the pretest, a monthly Internet correspondence was established providing scripture, exegesis, reflection and a suggested action. This author used surveys and individual interviews with A. M. E. pastors to assess the reassignment process.  The findings indicated that the absence of communication before reassignment had the emotional effect associated with loss, diminishing Itinerant Elder authority in ministry and their role as a partner in the vision for the church. Sermons delivered on love, compassion, grace, and acceptance paralleled workshops on care to the physically impaired.  This project demonstrated that holistic care to the physically impaired will help them feel a part of the church. The author and the participants prepared for the implementation of the ministry by using instruction on Christian and Buddhist doctrines, case studies, and the FAITH process in ministry and witnessing. The author and the participants then discovered physical needs of selected Japanese Buddhists. These partners are the Baptist ministry center directors, state baptist conventions/fellowships, and local Baptist associations. The practical means of developing the partnership was the development of an assessment tool for the ministry centers. Once the tool was developed, it was field tested in seven Baptist ministry centers. The testing was also done in partnership as the various partners came together at the centers for an on-site visit and assessment. Their party-indoctrinated worldview presented obstacles in comprehending the gospel. There is a need for a training model to equip the Christians to understand their mentality and be able to present the gospel to them. This project is a twelve session hands-on training seminar. It provided a support structure for the participants to pray for and engage in evangelism. It motivated the participants with the biblical mandate for cross-cultural evangelism. It equipped them with the necessary knowledge for communicating the gospel.
