The project director identified and enlisted students, ages thirteen to eighteen, who desired to enhance their understanding of discipleship skills and were active members of Airline Baptist Church. Using an equipping model, students were trained in basic discipleship skills and were then taught how to train other students. Students were trained in understanding their salvation and sharing their testimonies, reading Scripture within its context, studying the elements of prayer, serving in the local church, and equipping other students to do the same. The program director used research to develop teaching plans that were used in training the students. Evaluation of the project director's knowledge and effectiveness of the training occurred at the end of the training sessions. There are so many expectations upon pastors and it is very difficult to know where to focus our energies and efforts. This research includes a survey of 45 Disciple pastors and the congregations they serve. The results were that church vitality is directly related to certain pastoral leadership practices. The conclusions are as follows: The role of the pastor is to be a visionary bridge building leader. The role of the pastor is to lead his/her congregation into a deeper Christian spirituality. The role of the pastor is to help lead the congregation toward developing more fluid/organic governance structures. With that in mind, I undertook this project to explore how to incorporate various kinds of preaching. The three-fold goal was to develop a biblical philosophy of preaching, preaching planning, and to create a process for long-range planning that incorporates the preaching of the whole counsel of God. The project argues that biblical preaching must intentionality and accurately incorporate the entire scriptures in the process of making disciples, and proclaimed in the context of public preaching and teaching. Calvary Baptist Church, Cochran, Georgia, in marital communication skills.  Equipping married couples in developing healthy communication skills through the use of cognitive, affective and psychomotor activities was the overarching goal of this project.  The communicative growth made by each couple was manifested through the successful results revealed by their own admission as well as external evaluation.  The project methodology showed that marital communication skills can be affected positively through practical teaching, personal examination, and purposeful training. It explored the biblical and theological foundation for inter-generational ministry, and reflected upon current literature. The rationale was shared with the elders and the congregation, and they engaged in several events planned to include multiple-age groups. Their responses to these events and attitudes toward inter-generational ministry were collected through a congregational survey and from feedback from the leaders.
