First, it is significant that leaders build influential relationships with members for successful growth in small groups; the foundation of this comes from God's loving relationship with us.  Secondly, leaders need to be trained for self-differentiation and forgiving others in order to build healthy relationships. These trainings help leaders to build character so that they can establish relationship based leadership in small groups. For the development, geo-cultural situations, Korean church-associated issues and various women-specific needs were examined.  After the implementation with a sample group, through various surveys and group discussions, the methodology, purpose and target-audience identification were refined and resulted in a long-term comprehensive program called 'Wise Women Project.' A call to action necessitates that the church provide a pathway and an ongoing process for men to become servant-leaders.  The project results were limited, due to a decline in the number of men who completed the project versus those who began the project, but yet encouraging.  Project participants were invited to discover the theology, concepts, and characteristics of servant leadership.  Participants experienced Jesus Christ as the ultimate model of servant leadership and were encouraged to follow His example in daily life, especially the church.  The results revealed that becoming a servant-leader must be an intentional process.
