The ministry project will involve three phases. First, the project director will identify best practices in biblical servant leadership through research, exploring pertinent doctrines, biblical themes, as well as input from experts. Secondly, the project director will craft selected content into training sessions. The training sessions will function as a pilot program fro required leadership development at FBCGS. Each session will be designed to address head (cognitive), heart (affective), and hands (psychomotor), presenting opportunities in each learning style. The author researched the exegetical clues within Hebrews to determine whether or not these influence the communication in preaching. He examined the author of Hebrews' words of encouragement compared to words of warning. He concluded that there is a philosophy of preaching within Hebrews that can be modeled by contemporary preachers. The project involved research in the general field of discipleship and in triad of quad disciple-making. The project director developed lesson plans and led the equipping seminars. An average of forty-six adults participated in the seminars. Seminar participants evaluated their spiritual awareness through the use of a pre-seminar assessment and then at the end of the equipping seminar participants took the same assessment. Results of pre- and post- assessment were compared. The project director evaluated the demographics surrounding Catawba Baptist Church and researched the topic of effective evangelism through the church. Involving appropriate ministry teams in the process, the director worked with the pastoral staff of Catawba Baptist Church and a selected group of leaders to develop a strategy for evangelizing adults in Rock Hill. This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself'' (Matt. 22:36-38).  This report explores the relationship of mission and stewardship. It is focused on the life of a particular congregation where increased involvement in hands-on mission has led to a deepened understanding of stewardship. Engaging in ministry with people who are hurting, grieving, lonely, poor, and oppressed, and working together for justice, peace, and reconciliation has directly affected how members of the community are faithful stewards of all that God has entrusted to their care. Jesus also said, 'For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also' (Matt. 6:21). This research indicates that the inverse is also true.
