The church and youth group have seen significant growth over the last decade ministering to hundreds of students in Bentonville and the surrounding area. First Baptist's desire was to develop a comprehensive six-year church camp strategy that would be sustainable and effective in reaching and growing teenagers for Christ. The doctoral project was divided into three major sections. The first section explored the field of existing youth camp and youth ministry strategies as well as specific research of First Baptist Church, Bentonville, Arkansas. The second section developed the strategy of a church camp ministry with  the help of the strategy team from First Baptist Church. First, the project director researched existing intercultural church-planting and church-growth models in three North American metropolitan areas. Second, the project director researched three intercultural churches in metro Atlanta, where SIF meets. Along with an analysis of area demographics, the director presented these findings to a selected group of church leaders for approval. The project director did careful research in data gathering, survey methods, and the use of questionnaires. A biblical marriage model--men leading in sacrificial love and unselfish service, and by treating their wives as equal partners--is needed within the Indian context. This project was successful in promoting change by impacting the leaders' marriages. They intend to model and teach this concept to their members. The project engaged fourteen members in a one-on-one, seamless electronic mentoring relationship with a mentor. The leaders then mentored other church members through the mentorship model. The project demonstrated that one-on-one mentoring relationship using electronic means is an effective way to create learning which leads to the knowledge and practice of the spiritual disciplines. Seven two-person teams composed of church officers carried the consecrated elements directly to the shut-ins each Communion Sunday. In this way, we not only hoped to give our recipients the joy of worship and visitation but also the consolation of knowing they are cared for by their church.
