Bosch's reading of the Gospel of Matthew, in dialogue with the Committee on Evangelism and Church Development of the Presbytery of Tampa Bay, in the hope to visualize from a theological perspective the contribution that immigrant groups can bring to the mainline traditions. Using the research of David Bosch, Darrell Guder, and others, this project was an attempt to move Trinity Presbyterian Church of Mercer, Pennsylvania from an inward, nurturing perspective to a posture that cares for the wider world.
