In approaching the issue, a series of regional workshop days designed to meet certification requirements for catechists in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston were conducted for catechists in urban multi-cultural parishes.  In design and content, effort was made to provide an educational experience that integrated sound educational methodology and an appreciation of the indigenous beauty and culture of the participants.
