This holistic case study included students in the fall 2014 Theory and Theology of Leadership class at Multnomah Bible College. It used a process that provided students with leadership theory, theology, practice, modeling, evaluation and feedback. A process of triangulation was engaged with five different sets of data. The project's hypothesis was supported.  Diversity in the design and delivery of sermons increased the effectiveness of preaching communication with listeners of differing cognitive style preferences. Dissimilar sermon delivery styles differed substantially in their degree of appeal to persons with contrasting cognitive style preferences.  How contemporary neuropsychological findings have affected communication theory were explored. The thesis of the practicum is that the Cognitive model is an effective therapy orientation for utilization in ministry to couples. The seminars were conducted with a total of fourteen couples participating.
