The hermeneutical approaches of Bryan Chapell, Sidney Greidanus, and Graeme Goldsworthy were reviewed and evaluated. A synthesized hermeneutic was developed in which the author sought to capitalize on the strengths and minimize the weaknesses of the three approaches. The author proves the scriptual validity for church outreach to the upwardly mobile and then explains how a nine-member task force of young adults developed an outreach ministry to this segment in its community through their Sunday School department.  Included is a sociological and psychological study of upwardly mobile baby boomers and the types of churches that successfully reach them.
